Almost Home Free...

Alex starts university in 2 1/2 weeks.

I will give birth to our daughter in about 3 1/2 weeks.

I could have been enjoying empty nest syndrome. But...no.

Let the games begin. All over again.

Congrats! It's been a while since I checked in (have three kids now myself). Excited to hear of all the places A is getting accepted!

Hey! You have three? Holy Moly! Where have I been! Are you blogging?

Mazel tov! Was that the unrealized announcement-announcement from March? Did the wedding ever happen? Wicked archery yet? :)

Mine start public high school ("Gonzo" 14) and middle school ("Ganoush" 11) in just 10 days.

Thanks for checking in!

Thank you! Wedding happened in City Hall. Very low key event. We were planning on a big fete but we've decided to save the big bucks for other important things.

I still totally want to learn wicked archery.

Congrats on Gonzo and Ganoush's progression to high school and middle school!

Oh

My

Goodness!

What wonderful and huge news, for both Alex and you! Congratulations and oodles of best wishes on college, the baby, and the wedding : ).

(So after all that college vetting, what's the final choice?)

Keep us posted with birth news, though I know blogging will be the last thing on your list!

Thank you, Becky! :D

After much consideration, and after learning he would be offered three (count them!) scholarships to attend, A will be going to the

(sounds like) Squish School

at

Nonesuch

Yowza

University

which you already know is south of Washington Square Park. ;)

I'm blogging privately because I had a stalker. :(

I can send you an invite to read, though.

Good luck with the new little one! And good luck to A at his university!

Sorry to hear you had a stalker. Stalkers and trolls suck.

SQUEAL!

Mega congrats to Alex on his acceptance to numerous enough places that he could pick & choose.

& Color me gobsmacked!

Even more congrats on the little announcement :-) How are you holding up in the summer heat?

Can't wait to read laMai2.

Thanks! I'm so proud of A, too!

I've been avoiding "outside" as much as possible until evenings, and except my trip to Cuba in June (landing in Havana was like walking into 100F Jello!).

LaMai2...hmmm...

One more vote for LaMai2!
